After a three year hiatus, YUSU’s Summer Ball is back for 2022.
Liverpudlian indie-rock band Circa Waves will be the headline act this year at the Summer Ball which will be hosted on 14 June at York Racecourse.
Patrick O’Donnell, YUSU president, said he is “so excited to finally be hosting this amazing night once again!”
Circa Waves will not be the only artist taking to the Summer Ball stage. Drum and bass duo Sigma will be back after their 2019 Summer Ball headline performance.
Finally, saxophone and house music act lovely Laura and Ben Santiago will entertain over three thousand students at the much anticipated Summer Ball.
With over 1.5 million monthly listeners on spotify YUSU says the four piece band will “wow crowds with hit after hit”.
Sigma have also had their fair share of success collaborating with major names such as Labrinth, Paloma Faith and Ella Henderson.
YUSU is sure their, “jam-packed setlist will get everybody dancing”.
Before York Racecourse, lovely Laura and Ben Santiago could be seen at some of the world’s biggest clubs, as well as at festivals such as Tomorrowland and Creamfields.
