Thor’s Tipi Bar will relaunch in the York Museum Gardens on October 25 ahead of Halloween and the October half-term and will remain open until 31 December 2024.
The bar has proven to be popular during the Christmas season with the giant tipi decorated using bright lights and a cosy seating area inside with log fires, fire pits, live music, street food and a drinks menu including hot chocolate and mulled wine.
Thor’s director Amanda Monaghan said: “We’re really excited to be back at York Museum Gardens this year.
“We had such a great time last year and with the earlier opening we’re looking forward to being part of the half-term fun.
“We can’t wait for everyone to get cosy by the fire, and make memories in our tipi this winter.”
Thor’s tipi will be open at Museum Gardens Mondays to Saturdays from 11:00 BST to 22:30 and Sundays from 11:00 to 21:00.
Live music will take place every Thursday from 18:00 to 20:00 and Sundays from 15:30 to 17:30.
The tipi will also open at The Milner Hotel Gardens, formerly named The Principal, from Thursday 14 November to Tuesday 24 December.
Thor’s Tipi will host pop-up venues this winter at multiple locations, including Victoria Gardens and City Square in Leeds, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland in London, and Parliament Street in York.
