The festival will centre around Greg’s Place, taking place on the 8th of October, from 6-11pm. BandSoc are also set to play at Vanbrugh Dining Hall.
For the first half an hour, DJ Duckman (YSTV) will host the main stage, followed by Bumble Hive Sounds, who will be showcasing female DJs before our headline acts take to the main stage.
Headlining is Harlee, who co-wrote Joel Corry’s hit single ‘Lonely’. Her debut single ‘Reset’ was released earlier this year.
Shift K3Y will be taking the mainstage, best known for his single ‘Touch’, as well as producing music for artists such as Stormzy, Zara Larsson, and Jess Glynne.
Cuppy, one of the most followed female DJs in the world, will also perform at the festival, boasting an Instagram following of over 7.5 million. Cuppy has released singles featuring Megan Thee Stallion, making the Forbes’ 30 under 30 class.
Mancunian rap sensation, TAYS, will also be taking the stage, who has had hits such as ‘Star’ and ‘Bang’ featured on BBC Radio 1XTRA.
Central Hall is set to be transformed into a silent disco, with street food catering to all dietary requirements outside.
Tickets are available to all students from the YUSU website, costing £18. This year, there will be no wristband pickups. Instead, all that is required to gain access are student IDs and an e-ticket.
The event is included in the college bundle ticket for Freshers’ week but can also be purchased separately.
