Whilst I applaud Madonna’s pluck, the sight of her gyrating posterior obscured the club cool vibe of her latest track. Despite the catchiness of ‘Girls Gone Wild’, the eye is dually distracted by the sight of Madge’s spandex-clad behind combined with zebra-like male dancers, detracting from what could be a good listen. Musically, Madonna has done much to remain relevant and this is displayed in the track’s quality. However, though this song does score some points, dressing like Marilyn Monroe’s grandmother does not a hit make.
