A recent York graduate has appeared in a national television advertising campaign. Former York Vision TV editor, Scott Bryan, features with others in a commercial explaining why they pay for The Times’ new website.
Speaking about the filming, Bryan told Vision: “I contributed to some forums that [The Times] were doing about the paywall, and they were looking for people in all different shapes, ages and sizes to take part.
“It was pretty quick… I was in London in a warehouse apparently once used by ‘Dragons Den’ in only a few days. I was on set for 12 hours… and no jokes on camera for 6 seconds.”
The advert is also set to appear in print form in the newspaper itself and on the London Underground. Other adverts in the campaign include Rupert Everett and the Gorillaz.
Haha, paying for Murdoch’s propaganda. What a loser.
