This Friday at 10.30am, Goodricke College is welcoming puppies in a stress detox for its exam-riddled students.
To celebrate the end of exams, Hearing Dogs, a charity dedicated to training dogs for the protection and companionship of deaf people, will bring Goodricke a selection of its puppies for an hour and a half of fun.
The event is not exclusive to Goodricke however, and everyone is welcome to come to Heslington East and learn more about the work that Hearing Dogs do in the community to provide deaf people with life-changing confidence, companionship and independence.
Anyone that would like to get involved with volunteering at Hearing Dogs can speak to a representative (human) this Friday or visit their website www.hearingdogs.org.uk/volunteering to see the many ways in which you can assist their work in York.
