What’s the most important part of your manifesto?
The most important part of my manifesto is that I believe a student trustee should be someone passionate about the student movement and especially the York student movement who is engaged with many students in order to bring a unbiased, fair view to the trustee board.
How do you differ from the other candidates?
I have the female perspective, which I think is important. I’m also a big believer in taking risks and speaking up for the little guy if it will have greater prolonged benefits for students.
What was your favourite thing the previous officer did and why?

What’s the most important thing about the role you are going for?
The most important part my role is representing the voice of students and upholding the ethics of YUSU to shape your experience at the university in a positive way.
How are you campaigning?
A good old combination of online campaigning and friendly posters of my face.
What do you like the most about York?
I love that York has so much to offer students outside of their course. I have never found so much diversity of activity and opportunity which I think is so exciting.
What’s the best slogan you can think of for your campaign?
Trust D for trustee…!
What do you think about York Vision?
I find Vision entertaining…
