The Boxing Club are set to run around the University’s running track for 12 consecutive hours on monday to raise money for Sport Relief.
The run is to start at 9am and finish at 9pm, with club members running 35 minute legs. The plan is then for as many club members as possible to complete the final shift.
The club have so far raised £164 towards the cause, and are hoping to reach an eventual target of £200 after breaking their initial £100 goal.

It’s a boxing club, not a running club. Should have sparred for 12 hours, that would have been more impressive.

@Mike Tyson
I think the point was to raise money for a good cause, not to impress people. The club can spar all they want in training, but how much coverage does it receive? Running was a good idea for publicity IMHO, and congratulations to a fantastic club for doing something so selfless.
p.s Mike, I had fun whooping your ass in 2002
