YUSU President Sam Maguire has vowed to continue his campaign to tackle lad culture this term.
The move comes after he faced criticism earlier in the term for failing to do enough to tackle the problem.
Maguire made a similar pledge at the start of the Autumn Term and many students believe not enough has been done to tackle the issue.
Speaking in a video about his plans for the term on the YUSU website, Maguire acknowledged that last term his campaign did not have a significant impact, stating that it “hasn’t got off the ground the way I would like.
“That’s something that’s going to be a real focus this term.
“Already we’re working with the colleges to deliver compulsory consent sessions to every student that arrives from next year.”
