Chris Morris,Vice-Chair for Vanbrugh Events and Services, has announced his resignation.
Morris has announced his resignation just 11 weeks into the role, for personal reasons.
Morris was elected to the role in November 2013 with 132 votes and fought off competition from Felicity Jane Hill and Benjamin Turner.
Michael Duncan, Vanbrugh JCRC Chair, said: “Chris has done an amazing job this term and I am really sad to see him go.”
“He has played a massive role in the JCRC’s achievements so far and whoever succeeds him is going to have some very big shoes to fill. We all wish him the best for the future.”
Morris helped organise Vertigo event, which sold over 500 tickets and collaborated with Halifax College on the VanFax Masquerade Ball.
