Campaign in three words: Ginger, Tea, Senate
What’s the most important part of your manifesto?
All of it. It’s fairly short compared to others, and has a nice flow to it.
How do you differ from the other candidates?
I couldn’t possibly speak for them. I just really like tea.
What was your favourite thing the previous officer did and why?
They put to bed (sort of) the idea of semesterisation, because it was clear that very few students wanted it. DespiteĀ its benefits, the overarching idea itself was not what was wanted.
What’s the most important thing about the role you are going for?
To listen and speak to as many students as possible, usually picking them specific to the subjects up for discussion at the next meeting.
How are you campaigning?
I’m going to be in as many places as possible to let people get to know me, to be sure that they want me representing them.
What do you like the most about York?
The people that come here are the most interesting, varied and manic people I’ve ever met.
What’s the best slogan you can think of for your campaign?
SEAN FOR SENATE! (that really sucks, sorry)
What do you think about York Vision?
I find it the most enjoyable to read because of the spirit and enthusiasm with which it is written, particularly the blind dates, they’re always funny.
