Welsh duo Paper Aeroplanes have enjoyed a climactic year. Fresh from a mass UK touring in spring, they are back this November to continue their conquering.
Vocalist Sarah Howells and guitarist Richard Llewellyn formed in 2009, and have since been the latest Welsh success story. With what can only be described as chilling alternative pop, the band has perfected a sound that has enthralled listeners across the country, bringing them a far wider following than they had known in the small venues of Cardiff.
Now, with two albums securely under their belts, and a third, “Little Letters”, released in May of this year, it seems there is nothing that can slow the band’s advance. The prospect of a January 2014 headline gig in London confirms that the pair is set for mounting success, and we are lucky to get a glimpse of the duo in action.
