When Drop. booked D Double E in October, I was as confounded as I was excited. One of York’s youngest nights had brought us one of the biggest acts York has ever seen. They set the bar fairly high for themselves by delivering all that “Bluku Bluku.” Somehow, they managed to book someone even bigger for tonight; Preditah.
Fresh off a tour where he played next to Skepta, Preditah is now experiencing his zenith. In his six EPs he has managed to produce songs that are both technically flawless and absolute bangers. Public and press have both noted his talent, and he is now something of a grime protege. His tour covered and impressed a big part of Europe and the UK, his face has graced the cover of many magazines, and he has produced for the likes of Wiley. He mixed for Boiler Room, and often does sets fabric in London.
Accompanied by Drop. residents, he is sure to get Mansion going at 140 beats per minute.
Is there really any other way to kiss the last term of 2015 goodbye than with some proper grime and garage?
