Dirty beats, heavy basslines and some serious grooves; if any of that sounds interesting to you, your Friday night is sorted.
Less than a month after bringing Belgian DJ & Producer Tom Hades to our very own Mansion, Animaux has planned something else for us.
Animaux in collaboration with bullet:dodge records are hosting talent from both Nottingham and Edinburgh. Representing the former is Inxec, almost at the end of his worldwide tour. He has played next to Kolsch and on the decks of fabric. His sets are a never-ending stairway to techno euphoria; the bass-infused melody taking you by the hand and showing you the wonders sub-woofers can do. Sqyre comes from Edinburgh, or maybe the land of wavy. He blends house, techno, disco and pretty much anything he fancies to an effect that can only be called “bewildered boogie.”
Bullet:dodge are bringing their very own The Brood. Animaux has shown York similar lives before, but if you missed out, worry not. Imagine a full-on live techno performance. By “full-on” I mean drum-machines and whatnot. That is exactly what will go down on Friday; real instruments producing techno beats for Mansion’s second ever live gig.
Endeser and Sloe Moe will represent the house, as per usual. They are sure to deliver the get-up-on-your-feet we are used to hearing from them.
And if satisfying your ears isn’t enough, they have something in store for your eyes as well. Visuals will be projected onto the walls of Mansion, curated by Endeser himself. No doubt this will, once again, take your partying experience to a new level.
They were kind enough to release their set times to us, so here is how the night will develop:
23:00 – 00:00 Sqyre
00:00 – 01:00 Endeser (Animaux)
01:00 – 02:00 The Brood
02:00 – 04:00 Inxec
04:00 – 05:00 Sloe Moe (Animaux)
You can find tickets at Earworm Records and The Nook in town, by contacting one of their promoters or online at Resident Advisor.
