Campaign in three words: Working with students
What’s the most important part of your manifesto?
My intention is to get out there and talk to students and allow their opinions and thoughts to influence the decisions I make. As their representative, this is the most important aspect for me.
How do you differ from the other candidates?
I’m shorter, and blonder.
What was your favourite thing the previous officer did and why?
Realistically, few people can actually name previous trustees and what they actually do, that’s what I hope to change.
What’s the most important thing about the role you are going for?
The decisions that trustees make will have financial implications for YUSU; it’s a very important role and that fact isn’t communicated to students enough.
How are you campaigning?
I simply aim to get out there and talk to people, give out leaflets and (hopefully) convince them to vote for me.
What do you like the most about York?
It’s not a big city; everything is in walking distance of everything else.
What’s the best slogan you can think of for your campaign?
I haven’t thought of a slogan yet.
What do you think about York Vision?
Is this a trick question?
