Considering Vanbrugh being unable to field a side many times last year they had a full team and started the game well taking the lead through great interceptions from the WD. Despite the Langwith GS having great movement the Vanbrugh GK held her well. The shooters of Vanbrugh worked well and the half ended 7-3.
Langwith came out hard in the second half with improved passing while Vanbrugh’s passing went astray at times. Vanbrugh GK was now struggle and the Langwith was easily getting the ball through into the circle. Langwith brought the game back to 10-10 with 5 minutes go.
Vanbrugh were still playing a good game and at times looked they could still take the lead back but with poor passing letting them down. Langwith capitalized on this took the game from them with the GD working hard to keep what had been a very free GA in the first half quiet Langwith were taking control.
