As it happened: YUSU Election Hustings 2011

Welcome everyone to Vision‘s live blog for tonight’s hustings. The event is scheduled to get going from 6.30pm although it would be unusual if there weren’t delays. Feel free to contribute to the debate, just bear in mind comments will not be approved if they are a personal insult or could be deemed as harasment. Criticism is fine as long as it is constructive and relevant. Enjoy!

  1. I’m not entirely convinced that was a fair representation of my answers. At 21:10, I said “no, although yes science students have more contact hours, this is made up equally by the amount of reading that social sciences and the arts and humanities have to do”.

And at 21:12, how can you not have heard of Paul Walton?! He’s brilliant! So passionate about Chemistry and higher education in general, will always make time for students. He’s the kind of person I wish I can be like when I’m his age :)
